A University of Pennsylvania freshman jumped to her death Friday evening in an apparent suicide.
Madison Holleran, 19, of Allendale, N.J., jumped off a parking garage at 1501 Spruce Street in Center City Philadelphia, police say. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 7 p.m. Friday.
Holleran, a standout track and soccer athlete in high school, was a member of UPenn's cross-country and track teams.
